Integrate With Accounting/Payroll Tools
Maintaining organized financial records is paramount for compliance and informed business decision-making. However, manual accounting can be tedious and prone to errors. With our Zapier integration, you can automate significant portions of your accounting processes.
Zapier offers integrations with numerous accounting and payroll tools, including Quickbooks, Xero, and Trinet Zenefits. For a comprehensive list of supported accounting apps, click here.
The foundation for most of these automations is the New Earnings Event trigger. This trigger provides earning events, complete with amounts and details, which can be utilized for automation. It's crucial to understand the nature of these events:
Paid Compensation Events: These events signify an actual money transfer to your business and should be recorded as sales. If your business adheres to a cash accounting method, this will be the primary event to record.
Closed Case or Referred Partner Earning Events: These events indicate an amount owed to your business, payable as White Swan receives compensation for the related case. For businesses using accrual accounting methods like GAAP, this can be recorded as an accounts receivable entry.
Here's a template to guide you in adding an earnings event to your accounting or payroll platform. This template:
Initiates with the New Earnings Event trigger.
Incorporates a filter that proceeds only for the Paid Compensation Event. (This can be adjusted if you aim to record "Referred Partner Earning" or "Closed Case" events.)
Adds a new entry to your accounting software using the details from the earnings event trigger.
For businesses with multiple team members, the entry can be personalized for each individual using the "Associated Account User" data which is provided by the earnings event triggers. Learn more about earnings with White Swan.
By integrating White Swan with your accounting or payroll tools, you ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial record-keeping, freeing up time for other essential business activities.
